Kusewera Village Costs:

Phase 1 – $50,000 – complete (formation of Kusewera Limited – Malawi, land research and acquisition of 13 acres)

Phase 2 – $350,000 total – still require $50,000 (landworks, building of the perimeter wall and construction of community center, volunteer guest house, storage warehouse and staff /admin housing

– Phase 2a – $30,000 total – still require full amount (Solar work, building upkeep)

Phase 3 – $75,000 – still require $35,000 (Sports Complex – initial creation of sport court and sports field (complete), upkeep necessary, resurfacing and expanding court, adding water pipeline, wear and tear upkeep, seeds, reseeding grass, etc.)

Phase 4 – $95, 000 – still require $88,000 – Small health clinic, music/drama amphitheater/stage and all water & electrical items associated, shipping container – fill and ship from Long Beach + delivery, 26-32 seater bus, miniature golf course (complete) and small cafe for weekend guests and hospitality training – income generating)

Kusewera Village salaries:

CURRENT Monthly Operational costs needed: $5000/mo OR $60,000/year (a monthly sponsorship helps here!).

Funds needed for minimal staff growth: Salaries and expenses (Goal for full staff) $6000/month (up to 25 Malawian staff) or $72k/year

Individual cost examples for specific donation: $15,000 Small health clinic, $35,000 for a 26-32 seater bus, $15,000 sport court resurfacing and expansion, $16,000 shipping container (from US to site in Malawi), $20,000 Amphitheater/Stage

$10,000/year for a minimum 3-year commitment will receive Kusewera website recognition

$11,000-$20,000/year for a minimum 3-year commitment or a one-time donation of $30,000 will receive Kusewera website recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) recognition, 1 volunteer trip cost included (in-country)

$21,000-$50,000/year or more for a minimum 3-year commitment will receive Kusewera website recognition, On-site (Malawi campus) recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) named small building, room (e.g. Creative Room, Library, Dance Studio, etc.) or space (e.g. sports field, amphitheater, etc. ) (to be mutually determined by Kusewera and Donor), 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country)

$50,000/year or more for a minimum 3-year commitment will receive Kusewera website recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) named building or complex (to be mutually determined by Kusewera and Donor), 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country)

$100,000 or more one-time contribution will receive Kusewera website recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) named building or complex (to be mutually determined by Kusewera and Donor), 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country)

$50,000 construction loan (to pay off) *see breakdown to left from initial building construction.

$50,000 per year U.S. Administrative Grant for 2 part-time U.S. Admin/Operations Staff positions, (12-months) to efficiently implement necessary projects from start to finish. 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country)

$100,000 per year U.S. Administrative Grant for 1 full-time U.S. position to efficiently handle U.S. operations, fundraising, marketing, etc. 3 volunteer trip costs included (in-country)
