Kusewera Budget:

Total Combined Necessary Operational Costs Needed: $240,000/year or $20,000/month

Malawi: $115,000/year or $9583/month – 25 full time staff, NGO fees, projects, program needs, monthly office/school needs, equipment needs and upkeep, farming/land needs and upkeep, etc.

US: $125,000/year or $10,416/month – 1 full time staff, 1 part-time staff, bookkeeping/accounting costs, monthly and yearly misc. fees

Kusewera Village Costs:

Phase 1 – $50,000 – complete (formation of Kusewera Limited – Malawi, land research and acquisition of 13 acres)

Phase 2 – $350,000 total – still require $65,000 (landworks, building of the perimeter wall and construction of community center, volunteer guest house, storage warehouse and staff /admin housing, Solar work, upkeep)

Phase 3 – $35,000 – still require $15,000 (Sports Complex – sport court and sports field (done), upkeep necessary – water pipeline, wear and tear upkeep, seeds, etc.)

Phase 4 – $125, 000 – still require $110,000 – Small health clinic (complete), music/drama amphitheater/stage and all water & electrical items associated, shipping container – fill and ship from Long Beach, delivered, 26-32 seater bus, miniature golf course (complete) and small cafe for weekend guests and hospitality training – income generating)

Individual cost examples for specific donation: $5,000 Small health clinic maintenance, equipment and medicine, $5000 Borehole, water tank and solar pump maintenance, $35,000 for a 26-32 seater bus, $9000 SUV vehicle, $15,000 sport court and field upkeep, $14,000 shipping container (from US to site in Malawi), $20,000 Amphitheater/Stage, $10,000 General upkeep of buildings and grounds

$11,000-$20,000/year for a minimum 3-year commitment or a one-time donation of $30,000 will receive Kusewera website recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) recognition, 1 volunteer trip cost included (in-country, excludes airfare)

$21,000-$50,000/year or more for a minimum 3-year commitment will receive Kusewera website recognition, On-site (Malawi campus) recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) named small building, room (e.g. Computer Lab/Internet Cafe) or space (e.g. sports field) (to be mutually determined by Kusewera and Donor), 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country, excludes airfare)

$51,000/year or more for a minimum 3-year commitment will receive Kusewera website recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) named building or complex (to be mutually determined by Kusewera and Donor), 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country, excludes airfare)

$100,000 or more one-time contribution will receive Kusewera website recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) recognition, on-site (Malawi campus) named building or complex (to be mutually determined by Kusewera and Donor), 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country, excludes airfare)

$60,000-$100,000 U.S. Administrative Grant for 1-2 Admin/Operations Staff positions, (12-months) to efficiently implement necessary projects from start to finish. 2 volunteer trip costs included (in-country, excludes airfare)
